Triforta.

Sounds good. Looks nice. 

But what does Triforta even mean?

Finally! We’ve been waiting with bated breathe to be questioned about our name. Our brand. Triforta. We’re over-the-moon happy about our new moniker. Every time we hear it aloud, we’re euphoric. Seeing it in print puts us on cloud nine. Yes, we’re rapturously pleased with our new identity! Triforta. A snazzy moniker if ever there was one. But it didn’t come easy.

  1. the state or quality of being fortuitous; fortuitous character.
  2. an accidental occurrence.
  3. an instance of great luck or good fortune.

It began with Fortuity.

Our team of insurance experts collaborated, for months and months, with a team of brand specialists. We conducted interviews. We focused grouped. We researched. Brainstormed. Ideated. And we wracked our brains. Then, like the magic that comes from hard work and cooperation, Fortuity appeared. A word that’s not so unusual yet rarely spoken and not often written. 

Fortuna appeared next.

Fortuity is also synonymous with kismet, blessing, good luck, fortune, serendipity—all words applicable to, and descriptive of, our agency and agents. And it gets even better! Another round of research led us to back to an era of antiquity. There, two millennia past, we met the Roman Goddess of Fortune: Fortuna! An esteemed goddess, Fortuna is the bearer of prosperity and abundance. As you can imagine, our minds were, quite simply, blown. 


Fortuna personifies an overarching agency aspiration: to be one of North America’s most reliable, righteous, respected, and successful insurance agencies. To be the agency clients entrust with their business assets and personal wealth (a.k.a. fortune!). Triforta does what it takes to ensure clients attain and secure their desired prosperity and to safeguard their businesses, estates, net worth, and all other valuables.

Fortuity and Fortuna clearly fit us to a tee. But our work was not yet done; rest on our proverbial laurels we did not.

 

We needed a twist of sorts. 



We had to transform dictionary-defined words into a word, a name, of our own. Something that described our agency; something that defined and differentiated us. That conveyed our areas of insurance expertise: Commercial, Employee Benefits, and Personal lines of coverage. Three primary product lines. Three. Trio. Tres. Triad. Tri. Triforta. Yes! We knew it the moment we conjured it. Triforta. That’s us. That’s who we are.
